Strait-laced professor Immanuel Rath discovers some of his students leering at saucy photographs of Lola Lola, a cabaret performer, and he goes to The Blue Angel, a local club, hoping to catch them there. Watching Lola perform, the teacher is consumed by lust, and he ends up leaving his teaching post so that he can marry the young woman. Yet being married to a coquette who makes her living by luring men turns out to be harder than Rath had imagined.
