Effective 19 October 2026
Reviva is a classic-film streaming service operated by Gregsen Media Pty Ltd (Australia). This policy explains what information we handle when you use the Reviva website (reviva.tv) and the Reviva TV app, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising.
The TV app needs a Reviva account to play films. You sign in with the code shown on the TV at reviva.tv/activate, or with your email address and password. The app keeps a sign-in token on the TV, and the TV’s make and model are recorded with your sign-in. Your watch list, ratings and viewing progress are stored locally on your device. When you watch a title for a minute or more, the app tells us which title was played, together with a random ID created when the app was installed. That ID is not linked to you, an account, or your device's advertising ID, and we use it only to count how many different viewers watched each title for our Top 10 chart. This information is not shared with or sold to anyone. The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking software. If you uninstall the app, the locally stored information is deleted with it, and a new install gets a new random ID.
If you create an account on the website, we store the email address and password you register with (passwords are stored in hashed form) and your viewing activity, such as watch progress and saved titles, so the service can work across visits. This information is used only to operate Reviva and is not shared with or sold to anyone.
Like nearly every online service, our servers and our content delivery network keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, device and browser type, pages and streams requested) for delivery, security and fault-finding. These logs are not used to build profiles and are routinely deleted.
The website uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. There are no third-party advertising cookies. Everything the website stores in your browser is listed in the Cookie Policy.
Reviva subscriptions are sold by Disruptor Media Pty Ltd. When you subscribe, Stripe handles the payment and collects your card details directly, so we never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status, renewal dates and payment history so we can give you access and help with billing questions. Stripe may process payment information outside Australia, including in the United States, under its own privacy policy.
To find and fix problems on the website, we use PostHog, an analytics service. PostHog sets its own cookie and records how visitors use reviva.tv: the pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, and the device and browser used. These recordings never include anything typed into a form, such as your email address or password. PostHog stores this information on servers in the United States on our behalf, and it is not used for advertising or sold to anyone. The Reviva TV app does not use PostHog.
If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, PostHog only runs if you accept it when the website asks. Wherever you are, you can turn it on or off at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the website or on the Cookie Policy page, and turning it off stops it straight away.
Reviva is a general-audience service for classic cinema and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information held against your account, including just part of it without closing the account. Email us at support@reviva.tv and we will action the request promptly. Australian users have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth); users elsewhere may have equivalent local rights, which we honour in practice for everyone.
To delete your Reviva account and its data (on the website or the Reviva TV app):
Within 30 days we delete your account details (name, email address and password), your watch history, ratings and My List, and sign out every TV signed in to the account. We keep only what the law requires: records of payments and invoices, held by us and by our payment provider Stripe, for the period Australian tax law requires. Information the Reviva TV app stores on a TV is deleted when the app is uninstalled.
If we change this policy we will update this page and the effective date above.
