This biopic portrays Abraham Lincoln's life in a series of vignettes covering its defining episodes: the romance with Ann Rutledge, the early years spent as a country lawyer, marrying Mary Todd, the debates against Stephen A. Douglas, the 1860 election, his time in office through the Civil War, and finally his assassination at Ford's Theatre in 1865.
