About Reviva.tv

The home of restored classic cinema

Our Mission

Reviva.tv is a free streaming platform dedicated to restoring, preserving, and showcasing the greatest classic films ever made. Thousands of feature films and shorts have slipped into the public domain or are now orphaned by their original studios. Many survive only as faded prints or low-bitrate transfers circulating on the open web. Our mission is to bring those films back: cleaned, colour-corrected, upscaled where it respects the source, and presented with the dignity classic cinema deserves.

We believe great films should be easy to find, beautiful to watch, and free to share. Every title on Reviva.tv has been checked for rights, treated for image and audio quality, and catalogued with proper metadata so the next generation of viewers can discover it.

What We Restore

Our catalogue spans Hollywood classics from the silent era and the studio system, B-movies and serials of the 1930s through the 1950s, world cinema with expired or unrenewed copyrights, independent and orphan works, and television programming whose rights have lapsed or returned to their creators.

Each film passes through a multi-stage pipeline: source evaluation, frame-by-frame cleanup, modern audio mastering, careful AI-assisted upscaling where appropriate, and full metadata enrichment. Some films receive new colour grades. Others are preserved as-shot. We make those decisions in consultation with film historians and the original rights-holders where they can be located.

Why Free?

Public-domain and orphan cinema belongs to everyone. We charge nothing to watch and we never gate films behind subscriptions. Reviva.tv is supported by light, non-intrusive advertising and by partnerships with restoration houses and rights-holders who want their catalogues seen by modern audiences. If you are a rights-holder with a film you want preserved or programmed, we would love to talk.

The Team

Reviva.tv is operated by Disruptor Media Pty Ltd, an Australian production and post-production company with a deep back-catalogue in film restoration, broadcast finishing, and long-form documentary. Our restoration work is performed at Disruptor Post in Melbourne, with technical input from colourists, sound engineers, and archivists who have worked on everything from network broadcast to feature theatrical releases.

The platform is built and maintained by a small in-house engineering team. We focus on careful curation rather than volume: every film that goes live on Reviva.tv has been watched start-to-finish by a member of the team.

Editorial Standards

We do not host pirated material, leaked content, or films whose rights status is unclear. We respect takedown requests from verified rights-holders and respond to all DMCA notices promptly. Our content is suitable for general audiences except where individually rated and gated.
